The Peripatetic Manager role
Under your leadership as a Peripatetic Manager, every resident will receive person-centered care that respects their social, cultural and emotional needs, as well as ensuring the highest standards of healthcare provision. By inspiring your whole team to ‘be the best they can be’, you’ll make sure that lives are enhanced, and standards met. An ambassador for the home – your very own business – you’ll ensure we have the very best reputation amongst our residents, their family, health and care professionals, and the wider community.
You’ll ensure adherence to the highest standards – be that in our clinical care, H&S provision, the quality of equipment, our documentation, or the caring, kind and professional attitude of your team. Financially astute, you’ll be able to stick to budgets, whilst never compromising the integrity of the Caring Homes Values. Above all, you’ll look to continually innovate and improve, to provide residents with the quality of life they deserve.
The skills you’ll need
To join us as a Peripatetic Manager , you’ll need to have experience both within residential care, and in managing others. You’ll also need a relevant qualification – either an RGN or, RMN, along with the high level of clinical expertise necessary to lead and develop a strong clinical team. As well as your in-depth knowledge of person-centered care, CQC care practices and Quality Assurance processes, you also have a strong commitment to making the lives of those in your care better – physically, emotionally and socially.
A talented leader, you have a mix of organisational, motivational, financial and communication skills that enable you to provide an efficient, cost-effective and high-quality service for all your residents. Vitally important will be, your ability to build strong relationships with everyone from GPs to your marketing department, resident’s families to every member of you team.
As Peripatetic Manager you’ll need to be flexible to travel and work across various locations, providing support to the business as required.
