Clinical Training Manager - Regional 

  • Regional Role; with the ability to work at Head Office in Colchester, Essex 
  • Competitive Salary + Company Car

This is an exciting opportunity which has arisen for a Clinical Training Manager to join Caring Homes working within Elderly Care. 

Caring Homes are a leading provider of care homes for the elderly with over 25 years’ experience. We currently operate 66 Care Homes across the UK and provide care to over 2,500 residents. This is an exciting time to join us as we continue to grow organically and through acquisition.

The Role:

  • You will  be a professional and experienced Registered Nurse where you will be able to deliver Clinical Training to our staff, and will be part of a well established Training Division alongside the Training Manager to develop a Clinical Training Strategy.
  • Working across our portfolio of Nursing Homes throughout the UK to develop a Nurse Training Framework to use in each of our homes. This framework will include clinical training for nurses and to upskill Clinical Leads.
  • This Training framework will enable Caring Homes to have a set of standards all our nurses will be achieving to include, local, overseas, pinned and nurses awaiting pin numbers.
  • Delivering clinical workshops to senior management to help support the homes
  • Planning and managing the training events including identifying training needs and on-site support.

Skills/Requirements:

  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin
  • Experience working within an NHS Hospital with a minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Experience in Elderly Care
  • Minimum NVQ4 qualified in Learning and Development or relevant professional qualified such as Education and Training Certificate (EAT), PTTLS, ILM Level 2 etc.
  • Essential knowledge of current clinical practices and “best practice” standards
  • Great understanding of an OSCE
  • Strong writing skills and confidence in communicating where you will be able to deliver training presentations
  • Willingness to travel across the UK
