It is a difficult time for us all at the moment and keeping those most vulnerable safe is our number one priority. At Caring Homes we are working hard across all of our care homes and support services to do everything that we can to keep our residents safe and their spirits high but over the next few weeks we need more help.
As well as permanent contracts, we are also offering short term and bank contracts to help people find work that suits their needs during this difficult period.
We offer a wide range of benefits but more importantly you’ll be providing invaluable support to our residents.
Great rates of pay – We’ll give you all the support you need to develop your career with us and as you progress our Senior Carer role.
We are able to offer full or part time opportunities, paid breaks and fantastic training opportunities including the care certificate and NVQ Level 2 & 3.
Are you; Compassionate and caring? Able to give support to families? Ready for a job where you can feel proud about what you do?
This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join our Nursing Home to work either full-time or part-time as a Care Assistant, where you will work part of a great team and be making a difference to our residents by providing excellent care standards.
The Healthcare Assistant role
Working closely with your Team Leader and our Nurses, you’ll lend a hand with everything from helping someone get ready for an eagerly anticipated family visit, to supporting someone who’s trying to build up their mobility.
You’ll provide the very best levels of care, you’ll make sure that all procedures are carried out to the highest standards, optimising the wellbeing of every resident. You see every person in your care as an individual, and work closely with the wider team to create an environment that delivers skilled care, clear communication, and respect and dignity for everyone.
To join us, you won’t necessarily need to have experience working with older people in residential care (although this would be ideal). You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people.
A team player, you can follow guidelines and policies easily, and will have good written skills, as you will need to write up care plans.
You’ll need to be flexible to work shifts on a rota basis, and work alternate weekends. The home works the following shift patterns:
8am - 8pm (long days)
8pm - 8am (night shifts)
What are some of the benefits we can offer you?
