Deputy Manager - Residential Care Home - Up to £40,000pa

Caring Homes are looking to appoint an experienced Deputy Manager to join the team at Ferfoot in Chippenham

The care home is a converted large family home built in 1902, and is located in the attractive market town of Chippenham, providing the highest standards of residential and residential dementia care for up to 52 elderly people.

The dedicated care team works closely with residents and loved ones to provide the highest quality of specialist dementia care. The teams create a life story for each resident, helping to ensure that care and activities take into account each resident’s individual life experience.

By inspiring the team to ‘be the best they can be’, you will ensure your team enable the residents to lead a valued, fulfilling life and to maximize the potential capacity of all residents physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. You will ensure adherence to the highest standards, develop new initiatives in care practices and overall delivery of a quality service.

Above all, you will look to continually innovate and improve, to provide residents with the quality of life they deserve.

Experience / Qualification Required:     

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • Medication trained
  • At least 2 years’ experience as care team manager/team leader or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player
