Basic Salary £26,000 pro rata 25 hours

Our Brand New bespoke luxury Care Home Homefield Grange is seeking a motivated and professional Community Outreach  Advisor to join them and to support the home .

This is an exciting opportunity to join Homefield Grange  as a Part-Time Community Outreach Advisor where you will be responsible for maximising sales opportunities through developing and raising the home’s profile and positioning in the local community to increase and qualify enquires leads with a particular focus on self-funding residents.

You will be the public face of the care home in its local community, building close relationships with local hospitals, health care providers and relevant stakeholders whilst promoting and integrating the home with key community groups and developing strong community links to generate new leads. 

You will provide local business development support to the Home Manager, taking responsibility for developing and implementing the local sales and marketing plan to drive private pay enquiries into the home.

Managing the CRM system and providing support to the home and colleagues, together with attending both virtual and external events for both B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Consumer) audiences with the aim of generating direct enquiries or influencing stakeholders to recommend the care home to their clients or contacts.

Key Tasks:

Liaise closely with the Home Manager and Marketing Executive to create and deliver a rolling three-month sales and marketing action plan which prioritises opportunities to make connections and engage with community groups and key stakeholders.
Grow and maintain contact with the home’s stakeholder, community and B2B databases, keeping a record of each interaction
Use social media to build a strong network locally
Establish and maintain various local community relationships, staying on top of activity in the local community to identify opportunities which support your action plan
Establish, develop, and maintain key stakeholder (direct referral) relationships in consultation with the home manager
Build a strong local network using social media
Conduct external presentations to your key stakeholders and community contacts
Organise and hold events that enable you to talk to the public, local businesses and potential customers in a variety of settings, including in the home, online and in community venues
Undertake home show rounds for key community contacts and stakeholders
Create and maintain a network of poster sites and leaflet dispensers across the local area and ensure they are regularly refreshed/topped-up
Establish strong working relationships with competitor care homes locally to develop a home-to home referral network
Follow the defined sales & marketing standard operating procedures (SOPs)

The Skills You'll Need:

At least two years’ experience of sales enquiry generation, working within a target-driven environment (essential)
Customer service background (essential)
Care sector experience (desirable, not essential)
Demonstrable experience of building trusting, collaborative relationships with the public and professionals
Excellent communication skills and an inspirational and impactful communication style
Confident using social media and IT (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Target-driven and adaptable with the ability to try different ways to get a successful outcome
Sales planning and time management skills
Knowledge of the local community and the ability to be flexible with time availability to attend community events
